3 Useful Tips for Finding the Perfect Airbnb Rental for Your Florida Vacation

Are you searching for the perfect Airbnb rental for your Florida vacation? Airbnb has become popular among vacationers, especially in Florida, because you can find a great house, condo, or apartment without the hassle of staying in a hotel room.

Airbnb gives you the luxury of feeling at home while you’re away from home. We use Airbnb for most family trips we take because you can find great places for great deals in great locations!

We have stayed enough in different Airbnbs that I have 3 useful tips for finding the perfect Airbnb rental for your Florida vacation.

These are tips we use every single time we search for a rental. It saves time and it will help you find the best deal for your vacation!

Who doesn’t like a good deal when going on vacation?

Finding the perfect Airbnb rental for your Florida vacation will allow you to spend more time enjoying your getaway. Airbnb gives you the option to stay someplace that is welcoming, affordable, and usually, right in the area you are hoping to stay.

Here are 3 useful tips that you can start implementing when you begin searching for your next Florida vacation!

Tip #1 - Read the reviews

Reviews are king!

Whenever we go anywhere, we always check out the reviews. If you want to know if a product, service, or in this case, a location is worth your money read the reviews!

Most people love to leave their opinions and a lot of the time those opinions can help you determine whether or not a certain Airbnb is really worth your money (and time)!

Tip #2 - Use the Airbnb app and zoom in and out on the map

This is a useful tip I’ve learned using the Airbnb app!

First, if you haven’t already downloaded the Airbnb app from either the App Store or Google Play Store, do it now.

Okay, now that you have the app, do a search in your area for an Airbnb. This is just for the purpose of showing you how useful this tip is!

You’ll need to fill in the details for your practice search, such as dates, location, and how many people. But once you do, hit the search button. You should see something like this:

Note: I’m doing a practice search in the Orlando, FL area.

Now, using your fingers, you can zoom in and out and even expand the area of your search. As you do this the map will update showing you even more results.

This is a GREAT way to visually search an area for the BEST deal in the BEST location for your Florida vacation!

We use this little trick every time we search for an Airbnb. It’s helped us save a lot of money and it can help you save when you book your next rental for your Florida vacation!

Tip #3 - Look for “Superhosts”

No one likes a bad host, right?

Whenever I go to a restaurant and I have a really BAD host, I usually leave the restaurant with a bad taste in my mouth. A bad host can ruin your experience and the same can be said of your Airbnb host, which is the person you are renting the place from for your trip!

Airbnb says this about superhosts on their website, “A Superhost is someone who goes above and beyond in their hosting duties and is a shining example of how a Host should be. You can easily identify one from the badge  that appears on their listing and profile.”

The great thing about Airbnb superhosts is not everyone can become one. They have specific requirements for someone to become a superhost.

I like to think of a superhost as THE best host to rent from on Airbnb because they have earned a really good reputation.

Conclusion

As you search for an Airbnb for your next Florida vacation, I hope these three useful tips help you find the perfect place for your trip! That way you can focus on enjoying your time away and making memories that will last a lifetime!
