3 Ways to Make the Most of the Minnesota Summer
Minnesotans know how to take advantage of a nice summer day. When it's warm and the sun is popping, it is not the time to be vegging on Netflix, or sitting inside on your phone. Here are some great activities for fun with family or friends in the great outdoors of Minnesota.
1. Disc Golf
If you've never tried disc golf, you're in for a treat. Here are a list of Disc Golf courses you might want to check out.
2. Rent a boat on the St. Croix
One of my sweetest memories is boating on the St. Croix. Take an entire day and ride the beautiful shoreline between Minnesota and Wisconsin. Get tan, eat cherries, and get lost in the magic of it all. Be sure to grab ice cream afterwards. If you don’t have a boat, no worries, you can easily rent a boat on the St. Croix here.
3. Go for a bike ride or walk on the incredible Minnesota trails
Our family loves to walk, bike and run on the extensive trails near our home, and there are so many amazing trails and parks in the Twin Cities to take advantage of. If you have not experienced them, you are missing out. If you want ideas, look for a Twin Cities bike trail near you here.
